Do you need someone to talk to? Want to start your mental health journey but are unsure how? Curious about what long-term mental health services look like? PSU and Phoenix Rising Centers (PRC) are here to help you!

PSU is officially partnering with PRC to offer in-person and virtual sessions for young people in Providence public high schools. We are partnering with the shared intention of connecting students to accessible mental health services. We understand that there are systemic barriers and concerns when looking for mental health support, and we are hoping to make the process much easier for you! Emily Pucino is a pre-licensed mental health intern who is eager to connect with new clients and embark on a journey of growth and learning with you. Her mission is to provide unwavering support and empowerment to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. She is deeply committed to fostering inclusive and affirming spaces where everyone feels heard and valued. Whether young people are navigating complex relationships, undergoing identity exploration, grappling with mental health challenges, or feeling the weight of societal pressures, she is here to offer a compassionate ear and thoughtful guidance. Emily’s counseling approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a fundamental belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual. She has a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and she has dedicated years to supporting children with autism.

Throughout her internship, Emily’s professional growth and clinical practice are under the direct supervision and guidance of Kayley Harrington, LICSW (She/Her).
